What are marketplace credits?
Harvestingtrees Marketplace Credits are loyalty reward credits issued annually to active harvest membership holders. Credits are a benefit of your agricultural subscription membership. They are not cash, currency, or a financial instrument of any kind.
Credits are issued once per membership year on the anniversary of your activation date. They appear in your member dashboard and can be used exclusively within the Harvestingtrees.com ecosystem.
Credit value & redemption
One credit equals $1.10 of purchasing power in the marketplace, so your annual credits are worth more than their face-value dollar equivalent.
Credits apply to any marketplace product: Medjool dates, artisan confections, syrups, spreads, chocolate, and future product lines.
Where credits can be used
Credits are redeemable exclusively on Harvestingtrees.com and affiliated storefronts: the marketplace, seasonal add-ons and upgrades, tier-upgrade fees, gift boxes, and future estate product lines.
Credits cannot be converted to cash, transferred to external accounts or other members, used on third-party retailers, or combined with promo codes unless explicitly stated.
Issuance & expiry schedule
Credits deposit on your anniversary date each year and stay valid for 24 months. Consumption is oldest-first (FIFO), so the credits closest to expiry are always spent first.
Unused credits expire after 24 months and cannot be reinstated. Balances may accumulate up to 5× your annual allotment. On cancellation within the non-refundable period, unspent credits are forfeited.
Credits are not an investment
Credits are a loyalty and subscription benefit, not a financial investment, security, profit-sharing arrangement, or equity instrument of any kind.
They have no cash value outside the ecosystem, are not tradeable or transferable for money, and do not represent ownership in any crop, land, tree, or agricultural asset. Marketplace purchasing power may be adjusted with 90 days' written notice.
Produce allocation vs. credits
Your membership includes two separate benefits. Produce allocation is fresh Medjool dates shipped free from the farm (shipment count depends on your tier). Marketplace credits are annual loyalty credits deposited to your account.
These are separate from and in addition to each other. Neither constitutes an investment return, profit distribution, revenue share, or financial yield.
Governing terms
These terms are incorporated into the Harvestingtrees.com Terms of Service. By activating a membership you agree to them in full. Harvestingtrees.com may modify, suspend, or terminate the credit program, or adjust the redemption rate, with 90 days' notice; audit balances for errors or abuse; and revoke fraudulently obtained credits.
